Paula Jordan-Foster, AAE, Joins KSA, a Pape-Dawson company

KSA, a Pape-Dawson company, has acquired assets of Jordan Aviation Strategies, bringing Paula Jordan-Foster, AAE, into the KSA family to head the new Aviation Business Practice. Paula will oversee the new division, creating a powerful new line of services for our firm. This division will offer a full spectrum of business and financial services to our clients, including airport rates and charges, airline use and lease agreements and negotiations, concessions and rental car agreements, PFC and grant applications/management, in-house master plan financial analysis, financial modeling, airport revenue development, aeronautical and non-aeronautical leases, airport leasing policies, benchmarking, financial program management, and cost/benefit analyses. These services will be available to both commercial service and general aviation airports.

About Paula:

• Paula brings over thirty years of airport experience to the clients she serves.
• She spent 23 years at DFW International Airport as a leader in the Aviation Real Estate Department, ending her career as the Senior Airline Properties Manager.
• Paula has over a decade of experience working at non-hub airports as well, serving as Airport Director at Texarkana Regional Airport.
• She holds both a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
• Paula is an industry leader and an Accredited Airport Executive with the American Association of Airport Executives, serving as a board member and nomination committee member. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Real Estate and Commercial Development Committee.
• Paula is a recipient of the prestigious AAAE Distinguished Service Award and the AAAE Chair’s Award.
• She has also received numerous awards for her service to the South Central Chapter/AAAE, where she served on the Board and as President. She currently serves on the chapter’s Policy Review Committee and Chairs the Loretta Scott Accreditation Academy Committee.

As part of this new Aviation Business Practice line, Paula brings additional resources to the practice with her continued partnership with Sylvia Ambrogio, AAE, President of Ambrogio Consulting Services, a DBE consulting firm. Sylvia will be working with Paula and KSA, a Pape-Dawson company,  through a master service agreement to bring her vast knowledge and years of experience in airport financial management to our team. Sylvia adds a variety of financial services, including bond issuances (revenue/PFC/CFC backed), rating agency/stakeholder presentations, capital funding strategies, air service forecasting, strategic planning, airport development, and more.

About Sylvia:

• Sylvia brings over 30 years of airport and consulting experience to the team.
• She has served in leadership positions at numerous airports, including DFW International Airport, Little Rock Airport, Tucson International Airport, and Sacramento International Airport, as well as providing professional consulting services with Leigh-Fischer.
• Sylvia holds a BS in Economics and Finance from UT Dallas and an MBA in Financial Services from the University of Dallas.
• Sylvia is an Accredited Airport Executive with the American Association of Airport Executives and has also served as Chair of Airport Council International’s Finance Committee Steering Group.
• Sylvia is a recipient of the Finance Professional of the Year Award – ACI Finance and the CFO of the Year Award through the Sacramento Journal.
