KSA’s annual shareholder meeting was held in January 2017. Among the many positive and exciting items discussed, four new professionals were added to the company’s prestigious group of shareholders: Hunter Hilburn, CEcD, EDFP, Michael Mallonee, Travis Pierce, P.E., and Vivek Khanna, Ph.D, P.E.
Hunter Hilburn, CEcD, EDFP, is KSA’s Director of Marketing. He takes pride in his ability to thoughtfully communicate the firm’s successes and competencies through a myriad of internal and external mediums. An out-of-the-box thinker, Hunter is KSA’s brand ambassador. He manages the firm’s social media presence as well as presentations, proposals, promotional videos, events, trade shows, email campaigns, the website, press releases, and printed materials like brochures, direct mail pieces, and cut sheets. Formerly, Hunter worked in economic development and was the president and partner of a software development firm that designed digital marketing solutions for economic developers around the country.
Michael Mallonee is a seasoned aviation planner with experience encompassing aviation planning, grant oversight, airport system planning, and regulatory compliance. Previously, Michael managed the Aviation Planning and Education Program as a Principal Transportation Planner for the North Central Texas Council of Governments, which serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In this capacity, he led general aviation airport system planning and long-range development training. Additionally, Michael led the North Texas Aviation Education Initiative to facilitate regional aviation education programs that will sustain the aviation and aerospace workforce in North Texas.
Travis Pierce, P.E., is a well-rounded engineer whose experience began in land development for single-family residences; which introduced him to agency coordination, planning, and infrastructure design. In recent years, Travis has been a leading team member heavily involved in infrastructure improvements for multiple petrochemical facilities and municipalities with professional service efforts exceeding 100,000 man-hours and construction costs totaling $120 million dollars. Travis believes it is tremendously beneficial to capitalize on the strengths of a team. He is a big-picture-thinker who likes to figure out how to exploit everyone’s strengths to achieve goals and execute large and small projects efficiently.
Vivek Khanna, Ph.D, P.E., is the Oklahoma Regional Manager and Pavement Resources Program Leader for KSA’s Aviation Services group. Dubbed “the pavement doctor”, Vivek is an expert in pavements of all types, although he has contributed considerably to the aviation industry. Prior to joining KSA, Vivek worked with the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission and developed meaningful relationships with aviation professionals in the state. As the Regional Manager and Pavement Resources Leader, Vivek will continue to leverage those relationships and cultivate new ones to expand KSA’s reach throughout KSA’s service area.
Please help us congratulate our new shareholders for their continued commitment to KSA. Their devotion helps strengthen KSA for success in a dynamic market.
