Top Gun Award - Chris Barry, P.E., PMP May 2020
The Top Gun Award is being given to Chris Barry in our Longview Office. Chris has been with KSA for 20 years. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. He is also one of only a few KSA’ers that has received the Project Management Professional, (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Chris is an effective business development professional. He is one of those guys that always seems to bring in a signed contract at just the right moment. He rarely rings his own bell because once he locks down one contract, he is off to find the next one. Chris “cut his teeth” as they say for business development while finding and contracting work for the Highway Division and Energy Services at KSA.
Not only is Chris responsible for bringing in new work for Emerging Markets and our surveyors, he is also in the field overseeing those projects, and helping to schedule the teams to be most effective. Chris is also in charge of monitoring and adjusting the survey crews from week to week, and month to month. At any moment he may be asked to fulfill a survey request and he is the guy that makes it happen.
Chris is very deserving of the Top Gun award because he exemplifies everything this award represents. He will now have the privilege of signing the shiny hubcap and displaying it in his office until the next deserving beneficiary is identified.
