C. Daniel “Danny” Hays, P.E., a Project Engineer at KSA, has over 20 years of experience planning designing, and directing the design, construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects. He has managed projects and prepared plans and specifications in the areas of pipeline design, sanitary sewer collection, municipal water distribution, street rehabilitation/reconstruction, land planning and development, and urban hydrology. Danny has provided project management and design services on municipal projects involving water storage and pumping facilities as large as 85 MGD. As well, he has assisted clients in the permitting of municipal wastewater treatment facilities and supports their efforts to maintain compliance with existing TPDES permits.

His governmental experience includes management of projects funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Texas General Land Office (GLO), Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). Danny also has experience facilitating project reviews and permitting through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as well as other Local, State and Federal Agencies. 
 
Danny graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2001. He volunteers at Libby Water Supply Corporation where he is currently the President and has been the Director and at the Nacogdoches Area A&M Club where he is also the President.
