Elevated Storage Tank
The City of Honey Grove, Texas utilizes and an elevated storage tank to maintain pressure in its water distribution system. The existing elevated tank was constructed in the early 1900s and needed to be replaced. Honey Grove hired KSA to design a new 150,000 gallon elevated storage and demolish the existing tank. The new tank was constructed adjacent to the existing tank on property owned by the city. The tank site includes a water well, chlorination facilities, and a standby generator all designed by KSA. The city can now maintain water service to the entire city from this one location during an extended power outage.
