Kori Thompson, P.E.
Kori Thompson, P.E. has been a licensed professional engineer in Texas since May 2012, and she also holds a Missouri professional engineer license that she obtained in March 2015. Kori has been working primarily on water resources and environmental engineering projects since 2007. Kori describes herself as a leader with “skills in team management, customer service, and project management”.
While working for the City of Columbia, MO, Kori gained valuable experience from the “client side” of the engineering process. She had the opportunity to prepare engineering designs, plans, specifications, studies and cost estimates for sewer and stormwater projects within the city. During her tenure, she was involved in a multitude of other engineering related activities including capital planning, regulatory compliance and program implementation, and asset management.
Kori attended Texas Tech University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA, Summa Cum Laude in Honors Studies and was awarded both the Highest-Ranking Graduate of the College of Engineering, and the Outstanding Senior of the Civil Engineering Department awards.
