KSA Elects New Shareholders

Longview, Texas – January 28, 2022 – KSA’s annual shareholder meeting was held on January 28, 2022. Among the many positive and exciting items discussed, five new professionals were added to the company’s prestigious group of shareholders: Peter Van Pelt, A.A.E., Trevor Self, P.E., Adam Marsh, P.E., CFM, and Chris Munroe, C.M.

New Shareholders:

Peter Van Pelt, A.A.E., brings decades of airport experience to the clients he serves. Peter has managed seven airports in his 21-year management career from the largest of large and to the smallest of small. Peter’s experience includes managing Stillwater Regional and Grand Lake Regional Airports during his management tenure. He has managed and/or provided senior technical leadership for over 50 airport planning programs since 2001. His areas of expertise include airport planning, airport development, operations and management, public outreach and regulatory compliance. Peter has been involved in virtually every aspect of the airport business and has experienced many firsts in the business, including as the Founding President of the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association and Co-Founder of the SCC/AAAE Accreditation Academy.

Peter excels at helping people achieve and use his experiences to teach and assist others find their path. He provides senior support to our airport planning assignments and delivers strategic and organizational leadership with a focus on satisfaction and going beyond client expectations.

Trevor Self, P.E., joined KSA in 2016 after interning in our McKinney office the summer prior. He wanted to become an engineer because he liked the idea of making an impact in a community that would add convenience and last for 20+ years. He is serving in our Aviation Services group and aids in the design of runway extensions, taxiway rehabilitations, apron expansions, hangar development and airport planning. He attended the University of Texas at Tyler where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. Trevor is a driven professional who is in constant pursuit of greatness.

Trevor Self, P.E.

Adam Marsh, P.E., CFM, received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Adam is licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. With him, he brings superior knowledge in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, water and wastewater treatment plants, roadway and transportation projects, commercial buildings, and other critical infrastructures to KSA. Adam is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and a dynamic leader capable of managing and encouraging a diverse work force. He is a member of the Oklahoma Municipal League (OML), American Society of Engineers (ASCE), and American Water Works Association (AWWA). Adam has served as a Project Manager for a 15-mile, 72-inch raw water pipeline requiring coordination with sub consultants, frequent meetings with property owners, and creating and implementing a design schedule and cost estimate. Adam can also provide regular on-site representative services. Adam is thorough, detail oriented, and able to quickly comprehend codes, criteria and policy for a wide array of projects.

Chris Munroe, C.M., has been engaged in the aviation planning field for 16 years. He has worked in both the private and public sectors (TxDOT Aviation Division), developing and implementing planning initiatives for general aviation and commercial service airports. Chris’ technical expertise encompasses all facets of airport planning, including master plans, airport layout drawing and design, terminal area design, capital improvement plans and land use compatibility evaluations. With a thorough knowledge base and understanding of FAA geometric design standards, Chris has prepared numerous, non-static “living documents” for airports to reference and utilize for long range implementation purposes. He understands the importance of creating a product that incorporates the ideals and desires of the airport and the community or region it serves.
