Animal Control and Service Center

KSA was tasked to perform a facility needs assessment and conceptual design for a new service center in conjunction with a new neighboring animal shelter for the town of Sunnyvale, Texas. With the city outgrowing their current service center, KSA proposed a 14,115 square foot building with 8,820 square feet of the building a four-bay fleet management area for town maintenance and a 5,295 SF business area for staff offices and work areas. The building was proposed to extend the roof an additional 30’-0” for covered parking and outdoor storage. The building was proposed to include a public entry and lobby facing the road and parking lot with metal panel and stone veneer exterior finishes for an attractive entrance. An automatic sliding gate was proposed to separate the employee only entry points and town fleet vehicle parking from public access and entry.
