Plant X Sludge Drying Bed 2 Rehabilitation

Commissioned by the Riverbend Resources District, this project involved the demolition of the existing sludge drying bed and the design and construction of its replacement. At a dimension of 63’X 28’, this rehabilitation involved a new concrete lining with a 3-layer sand, pea gravel and coarse grain gravel filtration system. Underdrains of 140 linear feet of 6” perforated PVC were connected to the existing drain line with two separate cleanouts. The project was completed on time and within budget - December 2018.
