Land Surveying KSA Civil Engineering

Oil & Gas Surveying

In the past 12 years, KSA has surveyed over 1,500 miles of pipeline, 1,500 well locations, and over 1,000 miles of access roads across Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. Most of this work was completed for producers and midstream companies in the Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basin areas.

Surveying, which is often the first course of action before a project begins, establishes land boundaries, right-of-ways, and topography. KSA utilizes the latest survey tools and equipment, including GPS and both robotic and conventional total stations, to provide accuracy in survey measurement and to ensure that your projects are compatible with the boundaries and topographical conditions of the area. KSA's surveying services are also supported by in-house GIS technicians and mappers. Our surveying and mapping teams work with a diverse group of clients, including oil and gas companies, private developers, municipalities, and state agencies. KSA’s project delivery team can facilitate and manage your entire project, eliminating multiple points of contact that delay your time to market.

With 12 offices located across the south-central United States, KSA provides a broad range of consulting, management, surveying, engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, development, and construction administrative services. Founded in 1978, KSA is dedicated to making life better for the industries we serve.

At KSA, safety is a standard practice. We demonstrate our commitment to safety every day, with every project. All our employees are required to undergo safety training upon their hire and before they are allowed to go out into the field. We test our employees’ safety knowledge to determine the necessity of future training. KSA employees must also submit to non-regulated and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated drug testing.

We are members of ISNetworld and Veriforce and maintain a favorable Experience Modification Rate (EMR). Our crews conduct daily safety meetings in the field and have been trained to communicate safety issues in a prompt and thorough manner. KSA also employs an in-house, full-time safety manager dedicated to enforcing the safety requirements and policies of our firm and our clients. Our safety manager is available to conduct customized safety training and program implementation for a wide range of industries, including oil and gas.
