Kori Thompson, P.E. Joins KSA

KSA is pleased to announce that Kori Thompson, P.E. joined KSA on January 22, 2024. Kori is in our Amarillo, Texas office and is part of our Municipal Practice Group. Kori has been a licensed professional engineer in Texas since May 2012, and she also holds a Missouri professional engineer license that she obtained in March 2015. Kori’s fifteen years of experience in water resources and environmental engineering is a perfect fit for KSA’s Municipal Practice Group.

Kori describes herself as a leader with “skills in team management, customer service, and project management”. KSA is eager to see her deploy her extensive knowledge of environmental/water resources projects from initial design, through project funding, and finally construction and regulatory compliance.

While working for the City of Columbia, MO, Kori gained valuable experience from the “client side” of the engineering process. She had the opportunity to prepare engineering designs, plans, specifications, studies and cost estimates for sewer and stormwater projects within the city. During her tenure, she was involved in a multitude of other engineering related activities including capital planning, regulatory compliance and program implementation, and asset management. 

Kori attended Texas Tech University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA, Summa Cum Laude in Honors Studies and was awarded both the Highest-Ranking Graduate of the College of Engineering, and the Outstanding Senior of the Civil Engineering Department awards.
