KSA is providing study, design, permitting, construction, and land acquisition support services for a 2 MGD ADF with a 5.3 MGD peak flow conventional activated sludge wastewater treatment plant with a new Influent Lift Station, Headworks with auger screen and grit chamber, Oxidation Ditch with 2 x 200 HP surface aerators, 2 x 57-ft clarifiers, twin chlorine contact chambers, post aeration, 2 x 52-ft digesters, a Dewatering Building with a 2 meter belt press, and ancillary equipment systems. The Project also included an Administration Building and 42-inch DIP outfall pipeline with 84-inch diameter manholes. The planning phase included an ultimate future build-out condition with four plants, rated for 8 MGD or 21.2 MGD peak flow. The project design is approximately 100% complete with all permitting milestones completed and approved. Land acquisition initiatives remain to be completed and the project has an estimated construction cost of $27 million. The Project's Bid came in under the Engineer's estimate and is currently under construction.
